Personage has the appearance of a rebus. The combination of image signs, letters, photographic images and mirrors seem to make a story with a singular meaning impossible. Tordoir plays with our viewing habits and asks an active participation on the part of the viewer. The reflection of the viewer in the mirrors also makes the viewer part of the image of Personage.
